Universal instruments corporation Started in 1971 by Late Mr.J.M.Toshniwal, we are Bangalore, India based small scale industry registered with Dept of Medium, Small & Micro Enterprises of Govt.of India. Currently managed by Mr.Ashok Toshniwal, Director. He is Electrical Engineer with 31 years experience, Member of various committees in the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry and CLIK, Recipient of Best Engineer Award from Lions Club, Peenya Yeshwanthpur, Bangalore, India, He was selected in Export coaching program of CBI in The Netherlands & Indo-German Manager Training, in Germany, and is active on various forums on the internet.

First product – DC Regulated Power Supply. Battery charger for substation & power plants and High current rectifiers for electroplating were introduced in 1973.

Since then Battery chargers & distribution boards have been installed in India & 23 other countries in Asia & Africa, in Hydro / Solar / Wind power plants, Steam Turbine power plants, co-generation power plants, solar power plants etc. Substations of petroleum refineries, steel mills, cement factories and industrial & commercial buildings, Unmanned offshore oil platforms, offshore process platform, gas pipelines,
