Welcome to our Kumaran Silks Family, a family so rich in silk heritage for over hundreds of years. Our retail history traces back to 1955 when Shri. P.C.Chengalvaraya Chettiar and his son Shri. P.C.Ramamurthy established this entity on a small scale in Chennai. They gradually transformed it into a massive retail unit in textiles spreading over 75000sq feet, making it one of the largest textile outlets in India within a span of 20 years.
Since we hail from a silk weaving community in Kanchipuram, inheriting exceptional knowledge in silks, we believe in producing the purest drapes with inimitable designs without compromise in quality as a mark of respect to our ancestry.
Today, not only do we specialize in providing you with the best sarees but we have also extended our trade to readymade clothing,multi-cultural outfits and home décor.

We launched the brand ‘Amrithavarshini’…sarees crafted with a perfect blend of cotton and silk. Appealing with artistic designs and sleek zari work, it was a big hit with womenfolk as these versatile weaves were perfect for casual and formal moments.

Strikingly pretty sarees with rubberized printing gleaming with graphic designs and electric colours.

Weaving Units
Kumaran Silks always desires to bring new trends into traditional patterns and yet retain its uniqueness. We started to setup our ownhandloom units in all the major silk production centres of Tamilnadu like Kanchipuram, Kumbakonam and Arani. This enabled us to manufacture new designs to keep up to the taste of the current women folk by maintaining high quality. Our own manufacturing centres helped us to sell quality sarees at smart competitive prices.

How Do I Shop Online With Kumaransilksonline?
From our Home Page you can browse through our collection either from the top menu, or by clicking on the icons below the banner and selecting a category.
Please browse our Collection in each category to find your favorite item/s. Double click on the item. You will then be taken to a page to view your selected item.
Choose the size/customization/accessories and click on the BUY NOW button to add the item of your choice to your shopping cart.
From the shopping Cart Page you can choose to do more shopping or proceed to purchase by clicking on the checkout button. You will be directed to the login page where you will need to login to your account or register yourself or alternatively choose guest checkout to checkout without creating an account.
You will be prompted to submit your custom measurements if you have chosen customization for your purchase
On the Checkout Page you will have the option to verify/ edit the delivery address and Invoice address for your selected item/s from your shopping cart and choose method of payment. Click on PAY NOW button. This function will take you to our Secure Payment Page.
When will I receive my items after I place an order?
We normally ship your orders within 2-3 working days. However if your order is customized, shipping might take up to 10 days or in some cases, we may take longer, up to 7 working days, to ship the order as we may have to procure it from our suppliers.
we use reputed express companies like DHL , Blue Dart Express etc. to ship your orders. Your order will reach you through the express companies as per their delivery schedule and depending on the delivery address.
What is the cost of delivery of my order?
We offer Free Shipping in India and we ship to over 200 countries all over the world. All International shipping locations are listed as options during checkout. Shipping Charges are based on shipping destination and weight of product purchased at 500 gram slabs.
