Gold Chick Hatcheries and Food Ltd. is incorporated in the year 1992 with an object to set up an fully integrated Poultry operations and produce processed chicken of international standards. The Company is promoted by Dr. D.B. Prasad Rao who is a visionary and committed Medical Doctor turned into an entrepreneur and a team of medical doctors based in India and U.S.A, who felt an urgent need for healthy chicken eating habits in India. They decided that it should be their singular mission to produce world-class quality chicken right here in India and make it affordable to everyone . To achieve this objective, they have set up India’s most sophisticated poultry operations to produce the world’s best quality chicken.

Poultry experts from USA, England, Netherlands, Italy, Germany and Japan have been roped in to get the best technology knowhow and the project has been executed meeting industry standards.

Gold Chick Hatcheries is what is known as a vertically integrated agribusiness. Our company is involved in every step of the supply chain – from breeding farms to eggs to commercials and feed ingredients all the way through processing, distribution and marketing. This vertical integration enables us to ensure the food safety & quality of our poultry products at every step.

Our efforts are aimed at making Gold Chick name synonymous with world’s best quality chicken. To achieve this mission, we have created India’s first and finest,and one of Asia’s best, fully integrated chicken processing facilities at Sadashivpet near Hyderabad, Telangana,  with machinery sourced from STORK of Holland, the world leaders in poultry technology.

That explains why each individual phase in our vertical integration process combines to make premium quality chicken.



Our plant is equipped with in-house lab to monitor the quality and wholesomeness of our products with highest priority for food safety our preventive approach to food safety that addresses physical, chemical, and biological hazards as a means of prevention rather than finished product inspection.
