Flowersynth began its journey in 1976 to manufacture Phenyl Acetaldehyde from Phenylethyl Alcohol. As the vapour phase oxidation resulted in many side products, we changed to the semi pinacol rearrangement of styrene glycol monoformate to phenylacetaldehyde. Similarly Hydrotropic Aldehyde from Methyl Styrene was also made. Later to shift to green strategies we again changed over to Styrene Oxide re-arrangement to Phenyl Acetaldehyde.
Our focus now, is on minimalistic fragrance chemicals and in this direction, we introduced Himachalene epoxide many years ago. Recently we have curated new range of products like Camphene Carbinol/Acetate, Mixed Esters of Oxalic Acid like PEA-Citronellyl Oxalate, Ethyl Citronellyl Oxalate, Tri Cis-3-Hexenyl Orthoformate, Di-Geranyl Vanillyl Acetal, Vandole etc.
The American Chemical Society membership offers science with many new catalysts and processes which keeps Flowersynth in sync & updated to the current trend. Flowersynth has always been a part of the Incense, Soaps, Cosmetics, Flavours, Toiletries, Fine Fragrances and Pharmaceutical sectors.
Flowersynth was founded in 1981 with P.K.Ramakrishna and three other chemical engineers and presently is a Partnership Company manufacturing perfumery ingredient for the Incense, Soaps, Cosmetics, Flavours, Toiletries, Fine Fragrances and Pharmaceutical sectors.
