Evergreen Enterprises was founded in 1995 by U.M.Kuppusamy, a B.Sc., graduate hailing from an agricultural background in Erode, with the mission to ensure that every home in his locality enjoyed the multiple benefits of supreme quality nallennai (sesame oil/ gingelly oil). Mr. Kuppusamy’s sustained perseverance and commitment to quality earned him laurels in the food industry and enabled him to develop his gingelly oil business across TamilNadu and also in Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

Following his father’s footsteps towards excellence is M.K. Sundharam, Managing Partner at Evergreen Enterprises. For almost 25 years, Mr. Sundharam has been consistently striving to reach out farther and wider with the natural benefits of sesame, nature’s age-old gift to mankind.

With a bent for manufacturing best quality gingelly oil while preserving the natural value of sesame, he has resorted to the traditional method of extracting sesame oil using chekku, while procuring best quality sesame seeds from all over India.

With his uncompromising eye for quality and innovative expansion plans, Mr. M.K. Sundharam aims and strives towards making Healtta a most reliable brand in the food industry.
