Aeka Biochemicals Pvt. Ltd. is the first fully women-owned biotech company in the state of Kerala, India. The start-up is based out of the capital city of Trivandrum, and is engaged in the research, development, manufacture and marketing of environmental biotech products.

Aeka’s laboratory and small-scale production unit at Vazhuthacaud, Trivandrum, which is the heart of the city, is optimised so as to be eco-friendly, pollutant-free, and a green, no-effluent zone. It has also been granted the Green Category license under the Kerala State Pollution Control Board. The facility depends on solar power as its primary power source.
